Is it possible to treat the boilers in the bath house by the paints OBEREG-OMV?

Answer
For these purposes the heat-resistant paint is more suitable, because it is designed for operation at high temperatures. The OBEREG-OMV paint is designed for metal structures protection. When the temperature elevates up to 200-250ºC the paint distends, forming a protective coked cellular layer. Thus the metal warming slows down to the critical temperature resulting in increase of the structure fire resistance.

Answer
There are two options regarding the treatment. Option 1 (keeping the appearance of wood) is OBEREG YANTAR SK (dry concentrate). The decomposition temperature of the components is high enough. In course of time the wood color shall not be changed dramatically. After treatment with impregnation the wood can be protected by a decorative varnish, but no earlier than 2 weeks later. Option 2 (without keeping the appearance of wood) is the fire retardant paint "OBEREG-OMV" that is available in white color only. On the site it can be tinted by any pigments (pigment pastes). Detailed information can be found in the section "Operating manuals".
