The dry "powder" impregnations are divided into ammonium and alkali groups. These are the mutually exclusive types of impregnations. If the wooden structures have been previously treated with ammonium compound, it is better to use for repeated treatment such compounds as OBEREG-OB (R) or OBEREG-OB (Standard). For the structures, previously treated with an alkaline compound, it is better to use OBEREG-OB (Economy). After application on the wood the components of compounds OBEREG-OB-YANTAR and OBEREG-OB-HYACYNT enter into chemical reaction with the main components of wood - cellulose and lignin. The natural uneven distribution of cellulose and lignin results in a "demonstration" of the natural texture of wood. At the same time there is a reaction with the dyes of wood that provides the surface of the treated wood with a nice decorative, amber-yellow tint.
