Raging fire
In the evening of October 28 on the border of the Novosibirsk region and the Altai territory raged a strong fire — the fire got close to the highway R256. Blazed grass and trees. Smoke sucked into passing cars, and a strong wind contributed to the spread of the fire.
Many saw a fire glow from the residential district Obges, Pervomaisky district of Novosibirsk, Berdsk and Toguchin.
On the website of EMERCOM in the Novosibirsk region reported that in the evening in the region there were two natural fires. Both occurred in iskitimskiy district: about eight o'clock in the evening near Novolipetski and Sosnovka lit up the grass. And in the Kurinsky district of the Altai territory, according to the local emergency Department, dry vegetation began to burn in the afternoon. The fire was extinguished only by 22: 00. More than 80 firefighters worked at the site.
The situation was complicated by a gusty wind. Passing drivers were hard to breathe because of the smoke. In a press-service GU Ministry of emergency situations of the Novosibirsk region to the correspondent NGS explained that over the past day in the region happened several wildfires, particularly in Bolotninskiy, Maslyaninsky, Moszkowski, Toguchinskiy and Cherepanovsky areas.
"These are the fires of vegetation, they are all eliminated, there is no threat to human settlements. Where there was a threat, so it is in the Iskitim area — <...> the threat of transition of vegetation fell on settlements", — reported in Department.
The MOE said that, in particular, in the evening the grass burned three kilometers from Sosnovka. The fire covered an area of 5 hectares, but firefighters did not allow the fire to spread to houses and buildings.
Different situation in the village Novolipetsk.
"At 22: 30 it was yesterday. The grass behind the settlement at distance of 30 meters from the village burned. Because of the strong wind created a threat of transition of fire on houses and buildings. The fire was eliminated, the houses were not damaged, but the outbuildings on the area of 20 square meters were damaged. There the total area of combustion was 100 hectares, " the Ministry said.
