On the morning of may 23 in Dzerzhinsky district of Novosibirsk apartment in the five-story building caught fire. The fire started early in the morning. The fire killed 61-year-old man.
At 5:29 eyewitnesses reported to the Ministry of emergency situations about the fire in the house on Yesenin: from the window of the apartment on the third floor fire was visible. Firefighters immediately went to the place and found that the entrance is full of smoke and an urgent need to evacuate residents. "On ladder marches had been evacuated 15 people. But, despite the timely response of fire and rescue units, the tragedy could not be avoided: a man born in 1957 died in a burning apartment," the Ministry of emergency situations reported. The Department added that the fire started because of the undrinkable cigarette. The fire damaged the room in the apartment on the square of 10 squares.
