Statistics on fires 2016

The mayoralty of Novosibirsk has published statistics on fires for the year 2016. For 11 months in Novosibirsk has occurred 1046 fires. Compared to the previous year, the number of fires decreased by 109 cases. Of them in residential buildings occurred 355 of fire, of which 235 in apartment buildings. In Novosibirsk from the beginning of the year fires killed 36 people. Traumas of various severity level have received 126 people. Over the same period of 2015 on the territory of Novosibirsk has occurred 1142 fire, killing 40 people.
Most fires occurred because of not extinguished cigarette or careless handling of fire – 431 case, in violation of the maintenance of electrical equipment – 309 cases. Increased the number of fires due to improper operation of stove heating – 144 fire.
