COMMON PROPERTIES.
Treated wood preserves its protected properties up to 12* years depending on the circumstances in which it is used.
Does not dye wood. Salt crust may form on a surface after treatment.
Fire-resistance quality verification period – 1 year.
* Considering treatment according to group I of flame protection.
CHECKING pH LEVEL
pH level should be measured before applying the solution over a prepared surface.
Check can be performed with litmus pH indicator (pH should be above 6), or with the baking soda solution. If using latter, baking soda soluton (2 teaspoons of bakind soda per glass of water) should be applied over the surface. In case of observable reaction (foam, bubbles appearing, light hissing, sensible odor) – pH of the surface is acidic. Using OBEREG-OB (ECONOMY) is prohibited! In this case, you should use the OBEREG-OB (PRO) solution.
If pH levels of the treating solution and treated surface won’t match, a chemical reaction with the gas emission will occur. If the solution was applied nevertheless, it is recommended to repeat the treatment procedure!
OPERATING SOLUTION CREATION INSTRUCTIONS
Operating solution is being prepared by mixing the ingredients (1kg of dry solution per 4 liters of water) in a following manner:
Gradually pour the dry solution into water. Stir intensely until complete dissolution.
OPERATING SOLUTION APPLICATION METHODS
Apply the solution using brush, roller or spraying tool over the treated surface, in layers (1-2 layers for group I, 1 layer for group II). If conditions match +20 degree Celsius and 80% humidity, each layer drying time is 30 minutes.
The operating solution should be applies immediately after mixing. If cooled down to temperatures below +5ºС, precipitate may form and block the solution flow inside the spraying tool.
After the application, wash the tools and gear with water.
