BIORESISTANT SOLUTION OBEREG - OB (PRO)
TU 2149-001-73958298-2012
C-RU.PB47.В.00138
OBEREG-OB (PRO) solution is designed for flame protection of wooden constructions and wood-based materials (chipboard, fibreboard, plywood etc) for groups I and II of flame-proof effectiveness according to GOST R 53292-2009, as well as for bio-protection of treated surfaces from rotting, wood-destroying, wood-painting and mold fungi. The solution is suitable for any purposed rooms. Not suitable for treatment of surfaces previously treated with alkaline flame-retardant solutions (see “checking pH levels”).

COMMON PROPERTIES.
Treated wood preserves its protected properties up to 10* years depending on the circumstances in which it is used.
Operating solution freezing temperature: -5ºС.
Does not dye wood. Salt crust may form on a surface after treatment.
Fire-resistance quality verification period – 1 year.
* Considering treatment according to group I of flame protection.
CHECKING pH LEVEL
pH level should be measured before applying the solution over a prepared surface.
Check can be performed with litmus pH indicator (pH should be above 5), or with the baking soda solution. If using latter, baking soda soluton (2 teaspoons of bakind soda per glass of water) should be applied over the surface. In case of observable reaction (foam, bubbles appearing, light hissing, sensible odor) – pH of the surface is acidic. Using OBEREG-OB (PRO) is acceptable. If there is no reaction – using OBEREG-OB (ECONOMY) is recommended.
If pH levels of the treating solution and treated surface won’t match, a chemical reaction with the gas emission will occur. If the solution was applied nevertheless, it is recommended to repeat the treatment procedure after the chemical reaction finishes in order to provide the required fire- and bio- resistance!
OPERATING SOLUTION CREATION INSTRUCTIONS
Operating solution is being prepared by mixing the ingredients (1kg of dry solution per 3 liters of water) in a following manner:
Pour the dry solution into water. Dissolve the solution completely by intensely stirring for 15 minutes.
It is not recommended to mix the ingredients in zinc-covered tare or the tare made from non-ferrous metals.
OPERATING SOLUTION APPLICATION METHODS
Apply the solution using brush, roller or spraying tool over the treated surface, in layers (1-2 layers for group I, 1 layer for group II). It is acceptable to treat product by dipping it into the solution.
After the application, wash the tools and gear with water.
